Abstract

The efficiency of warehouses is one of the crucial factors concerning the efficiency of overall supply chains. As order-picking accounts for 55% to 65% of cost of warehousing operations, it is important to continuously imp- rove the efficiency of it. It is necessary to apply new technologies to order-picking and thus improve results and reduce costs. The purpose of this paper is to explore present-day researches and knowledge about the usage of AR for pick-by-vision. The study is based on literature review and the goal is to explain advantages of this picking method, but also to point out problems that occur during picking, especially concerning comfort of pickers
